The fifth component of IRT is Immune Stimulation Therapy. This is designed to aid the immune system’s ability to attack cancer by optimizing the function of natural killer cells and cytotoxic T-cells. The therapy employs a two-pronged approach. The first prong involves the use of natural products that boost the function of the immune system. The second prong involves the use of substances that block the mechanisms tumors use to suppress the immune system.
